Which watches will make your New Year’s Resolution 2024 bucket list?
With a new year (almost) upon us, it’s tempting to focus on ways we need to change, like us watch addicts resolving to taper our horological addiction – which is easier said than done.
From one watch addict to another, I think we’re all pretty awesome just the way were are! Ditch clichéd resolutions to stop or modify your addiction and begin 2024 by diving into joy—starting with an awesome bucket list of watches you’ll be aiming to acquire (or just lust after).
For what it’s worth, here is my bucket list for 2024 – which will most probably change during the course of the new year:
- Not necessarily a watch per se, but this gorgeous Heuer All Sports 2 Wrist Stop Watch from 1976 makes my bucket list for next year -just look at it (I am swooning).

2. The ‘Glassbox’ update of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph is more of a lust entrant – one can only hope and dream 😉

3. The Seiko Prospex PADI SUN065J is an older Seiko model, but the Kinetic movement intrigues me, plus it is a hefty and good-looking watch!

4. The Oris 400 movement with its 5 day reserve is a great feat of horological engineering, so a watch with this movement is on my list, but which model? The Oris Big Crown Pointer (Wings Of Hope) is the main contender.

5. One should always have a vintage watch on their bucket list. I am a sucker for Omega vintage watches (vintage Seiko is a close second) and the one that make this list is the Chronostop Geneve 145.009 Cal 865

Well, there you have it. I am 100% certain this list will grow and evolve, but it’s always good to have a fresh starting point for the start of the year.
Wishing my fellow watch connoisseurs a happy, healthy and prosperous 2024. May your watch collection bring you lots of joy and happiness!
See you all in 2024!
