Seiko Australia has announced an exhibition celebrating the 100th year of Seiko branding.

The exhibition will be broken into three sections, with the first part titled “BIRTH” looking at the company’s history through landmark models and archival materials on loan from the Seiko Museum in Tokyo.

The second part of the exhibition is titled “REBIRTH” and it was part of the 2022 Seiko Power Design Project. The project allowed designers to re-imagine classic models from the brand and create a new interpretation. There are seven different models and two of the designers will be present at the exhibition to discuss their creations.

The final part of the exhibit is titled “SPORTS” and it looks back at Seiko’s historical stopwatches and sports timing that goes back to Tokyo in 1964.

If you are in Sydney, then you are in luck, the exhibit will run from March 15th to 24th at Shop 54 Mid City Center, 420 George Street, Sydney.

PS: C’mon Seiko, give us an event in Melbourne, please!
