With the Victorian public holiday yesterday (March 11th), we had to endure another excruciating hot day, a third in this autumn’s heatwave, but alas, in the comfort of our air conditioned office, we stumbled upon some Citizen news!

Citizen has added two limited editions to their Iconic Nature range, both with washi paper dials, but one being in green and the other in brown. Being part of the Iconic Nature model range, these two new timepieces are inspired by flowers (green) and bears (brown), as seen from the washi paper pattern.

Powered by the high-accuracy A060 Eco-Drive movement, which has an accuracy to a mind-bending ±5 second per year, and cases made out of Citizen’s scratch-resistant Super Titanium, these watches hold true to Citizen’s twin ethos of “always looking ahead and pursuing the ideal” and “becoming an integral part of users’ lives”.

These watches are at the premium end of the Citizen Watches range, so don’t be shocked by the price.

About Citizen’s Eagle emblem:

The symbol of The CITIZEN is an eagle with its wings spread wide. With their extraordinarily powerful eyesight, eagles can spot their prey from as far as 1,000 meters away. The eagle is thus a symbol of foresight and action based on a clear vision of the future. Since ancient times, the eagle has also worked in close partnership with humans.
The eagle mark is discreetly stamped on the dial, the crown and other parts of the watch.
