Cast your mind back two years ago – things were a lot different then, and we aren’t just referring to the global pandemic we were slowly coming out from.

Back in March 2022 what occurred when The Swatch Group released their new Omega X Swatch MoonSwatch range was nothing short of hysteria and total chaos at each and every Swatch Store around the world – imagine being a Swatch Store employee and dealing with that! We won’t even go into the sordid side of opportunists (Ed: scalpers!) that came out of the woodwork due to the scarcity and difficulty in sourcing a MoonSwatch.

Now it would seem that The Swatch Group has not learned its lesson. Their new release, the Mission To The MoonPhase featuring NASA’s safety mascot and Peanuts comic-strip star, Snoopy, will be made available in store only from March 26th, which we can only imagine will lead to the same chaotic scenes (and huge lines) snaking outside each Swatch Store.

C’mon Swatch, with the advent of technology and the internet, surely you can make these watches available to be purchased online and save your store staff from putting up with hysterical customers frothing at the mouth when told that there are no more Snoopy Mission To The MoonPhase watches available that day!
