Not everyfin is what it seems! Is it a shark or a surfboard ? Your point of view depends on your view point.

There has been a number of collaborations over the last few years that have piqued the interests of folks from all walks of life, including those who aren’t generally into watches – which is a good thing!

This time round, Australian premium watch brand Bausele, has collaborated with French artist, seconde/ seconde/ to create a very unique timepiece – the BAUSELE X SECONDE/ SECONDE/ – Perspective.

Limited to 50 pieces, this stunning timepiece lives up to its ‘Perspective‘ moniker with the second hand ticking away and creating different perceptions based on the position of the rotating fin – is it a shark fin or a surf fin? As Bausele states:

“This design invites the wearer to consider the dual perspectives in every story, especially in our relationship with the natural world”

This special watch comes in a ‘just right’ 39.5mm case size, 47.5mm lug to lug and is 9.5mm thick without the double domed scratch resistant Sapphire Crystal (which has five layers of anti-reflective coating!).

As mentioned, this is a limited edition to 50 numbered pieces only for each dial color (white or black), crown at 3H filled with the Kimberley red dirt (close to cap Leveque), glow in the dark Super Luminova hands and numerals. When it comes to straps, there is the choice between the one elastic light blue Nato and one black strap made of recycle material. Oh yeah, the heart of this collab watch beats the Sellita SW200 Automatic self winding movement – a total workhorse caliber.

Priced at AUD$2,180.00 / USD$1,400, the Bausele X seconde/ seconde/ – Perspective will start shipping at the end of February.
