With the Omega X Swatch MoonSwatch celebrating its second anniversary in a month’s time (on March 26th), speculation is running rife on social media that The Swatch Group will release a MoonSwatch Snoopy Edition on the anniversary date, with even better news that will apparently be available to buy online!

As far as speculations go, this is huge. The MoonSwatch was plagued with shortages upon release, with queues forming all around the world at Swatch stores, so to hear rumours that this MoonSwatch Snoopy edition being made available online will definitely displease the scalpers (ha!).

With Swatch posting teaser videos, like Snoopy carrying a birthday cake with two candles, it didn’t take long for punters to put two and two together! This has lead to a few clever people mocking up concepts on how this new MoonSwatch Snoopy watch will look like.

One such concept that caught our eye was Mykhailo Mertsyn, aka @mehrzehn on Instagram. This digital creator’s mock up of the MoonSwatch Snoopy looks like it could have been leaked by the Swatch Group.

The most interesting part of this concept creation is that instead of going with the traditional white and blue colourway, Mykhalio decided to make this watch black and white!

We’ll obviously be keeping an eye on this and it will be quite interesting to see if Mykhalio’s concept hits the mark. Roll on March 26th!!
